Victorian Dancing, this event will be held at the Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District from 7:30 pm to 10 pm tonight, February 17, 2012 The event will feature dances popular in the 19th century, quadrilles, line dances and waltzes. No partner is necessary and no experience is required. Period attire is suggested. Admission is $5.00, for more information go to Rancho Simi Recreation.
The Camarillo Center for Spiritual Living will host an improvisational comedy show from 7-9 pm. The Wingnut Theatre improve troupe will provide audience-inspired scenes, songs and games for all ages. Ojai Jazz Concerts will present Grammy winning pianist Bill Cunliffe in a fund raising concert at the Ojai Valley Community Church. 10% of the proceeds will go to the Nordhoff High School to fund the Jazz band. The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West will perform this Saturday at 2pm at the Gardens of the World. This will be the only local performance given by this group. This "Patriot Concert in the Park will include military marches, jazz, pop, Broadway tunes and patriotic music. For more info go to Air Force Band
The Baroque Chamber Players will perform at 4:30pm at the Dudley House Convention Hall. The concert will feature music by Vivaldi including works of the Concerto da Camara Series "La Pastorella" Opus 12. Admission is $20, refreshment will be served, for more info go to Dudley House
