The Journey...
We have heard it time and time again, life is a journey. But where does the journey start and where does it end?
As long as we draw breath, we will continually travel down our chosen path. The road we take will be one of our own design. Our destinations will vary. However; we all have one thing in common. The trail we take starts from within.
Folks talk about having an attitude of gratitude. What are your really grateful for? Have you taken 5 minutes out of the day just to say aloud what you have and what you are really grateful for? Your experiences, your health, your house, running water, the Nation in which we live.
We are lucky to be alive. For every day brings about new experiences. Opportunities that will make us stronger, wiser, and stretch us as we continue to grow in mind, body and spirit.
Today, I am grateful that I am on this journey. The journey that will take and mold me into the person that God wants me to be. I am grateful that you too are walking beside me as friends. After all, isn't that the way it should be?

Mike,

If you can't take a few minutes to reflect on being grateful for what we have...I guess you deserve what you get in the end.

I think that pride and the lack of gratitude are two of the universal sins.  And that is a terrific photo into Never Never Land!

Michael "Today, I am grateful that I am on this journey."

I wanted to quote the whole post, but it wouldbe called plagiarism, so I didn't. I am "suggesting" it.

And what a gorgeous photo

Michael, you are certainly becoming the guru here. I need to work on my gratitude, being more vocal about it. But I am grateful you wrote this post!
