I recently read that your marketing should revolve around the customer. Those are powerful words to a business professional. So let's think about that for a second. Have you accurately identified your customer? Before you spend another dollar or any more time on your marketing let's take a closer look at your target audience.
Some of these questions may seem very basic, however they are very useful. So here is a quick checklist to help you identify your ideal customer:
1. Is your customer male or female?
2. How old is your customer?
3. Is your customer married or single?
4. Does your customer live in a specific geographical area?
5. What is the average annual income for your customer?
6. How does your customer shop?
7. What other services does your customer use?
Having the answers to these questions will certainly determine whether or not marketing your business on YouTube is the right marketing strategy. If your customer doesn't own a computer or doesn't surf the Internet, you will be wasting your time with YouTube marketing.
