Just curious...

I do photography for real estate and typically have the agent or the seller meet me at the property. There have been a couple times where an agent and I started to enter the home and weren't sure if the seller was home or not. Some of you must have some interesting stories about finding sellers or animals home when you thought they were out... What did you find and how did you handle it?

OK...there was the time when the people didn't want to leave for the showing, but didn't want to talk to anyone, (tenants). So, they decided to lay on the bed with bedspread covers over their heads as if they were dead corpses while the buyers toured. It was a quick tour. Nobody wanted to walk past the "corpses" to see the master bath.

Then there was the time when I was training a new agent and she opened the door and had a vicious dog lunge at her...this has happened to me before as well. Every time we closed the door in the nick of time. Nobody was hurt, thank God.

Sometimes there are sleeping people and once a naked person...but that's about it! We just ignore them and make a quick sweep out the door.

You will run into these situations often...If you see things that shouldn't have been for your eyes then all you can do is put it in the past!!! I would knock a few times even if i have the key and yell hello before I let us in.
