15th Annual Craft and Bake Sale

The Craft & Bake Sale is hosted by seminary students, student spouses and faculty. The purpose of this event is to provide an opportunity to host the community on campus and also to support the students who are operating booths. This event is open to the entire community and admission is free.

Wake Forest Presbyterian Church presents the 8th annual "Walk Through Bethlehem" living nativity program. Experience first-hand the Town of Bethlehem on the night of Jesus' birth. The program will run Friday, November 30 from 6 - 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2 from 6 - 9 pm. We have made many changes to the set and script. Characters have been added and the animals are back! We have also revised the flow of the program to minimize the long (and often cold) waiting times you may have experienced in the past. This year we will also have an interactive daytime program on Saturday, December 1 from 1 - 4 pm and on Sunday, December 2, from 2 - 4 pm. Visitors will experience the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of first century Bethlehem in the marketplace followed by a guided tour of Bethlehem. All events are free to the public. Donations of canned goods and gifts suitable for babies will be accepted. All profits go to the Media Center to purchase new books and materials. There will be a large selection of books to choose from, and titles not in stock can be ordered. It's a great chance to purchase holiday gifts for your family. Or you can shop off the teachers' wish lists to help stock classroom libraries. Come join the fun and support your neighborhood school! Public welcome - just sign in at the office.

On Saturday, December 1 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. you can enjoy brunch at The Mill Room at The Factory and let your kids have their picture taken with Jolly Old St. Nick. Children under 2 - $5; Children over 2 and adult meals $8/each. Child's ticket includes photo by Three Oaks Photography and brunch. Adult ticket is for the meal only. Reservations are required! On Saturday, December 1, the Franklin County Humane Society is holding a special Adoptathon at Petsmart in Wake Forest on Retail Drive. We hope you will be there to help us find permanent, loving, indoor homes for our rescued felines. We are offerning special discounted prices: Teens (5 months to 1 year) $80. Calmer than kittens and ready to warm your home with love, we have some gorgeous boys and girls who want to be your best friend forever. Adults (over 1 year) $50. Some of these loving cats have been in foster care for a long while and need someone to offer them a chance. Be sure to visit our website as not all of them will be attending the adoptathon this weekend. Kittens (16 weeks and younger) $95 or our black kittens at a special price of $75. Christmas Concert featuring The Master's Men

Wake Forest Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)
Wake Forest Christian Church invites you to a very special Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 2, at 10:30 a.m. with the Master's Men. The Master's Men is a male a cappella ensemble dedicated to providing inspirational music to the glory of God. The group's goal is to spread the message of God's love in song, in ways that will enhance Christian church worship services and other programs. Arrangements include hymns, spirituals, gospel, and other musical styles in four, five, and six part harmony for unaccompanied male voices. A light brunch will be served following the service.
