The boys are back in town for spring training in Jupiter Florida. The Miami Marlins share Roger Dean Stadium with the St. Louis Cardinals during the Grapefruit League spring training season. Roger Dean Stadium with a total capacity is 7,000: 6,400 in box seats, bleachers and skyboxes, up to 300 on a party deck, and 300 in berm seating. The season kicks off on march 5th with the St. Louis Cardinals playing the Miami Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium at 1:05pm.
Kicking off the season you won't want to miss the Baseball Bash on February 29. Baseball Bash at Roger Dean Stadium is scheduled for Wednesday, February 29th starting at 6 pm. This unique baseball event provides fans the opportunity to collect autographs from select Cardinals and Marlins players, listen to the team manager’s season forecasts and enjoy a great dinner.
The first 300 people to register will receive two team pennants that can be used for autorgraphs, compliments of Toshiba Business Solutions. Autographs will run from 6-7 pm and are limitied to one per person. There will also be a silent auction to bid on signed Marlins and Cardinals jerseys.
Both team's managers will be on hand to discuss the upcoming season. Fans can also get down on the field at Roger Dean and run the bases. Afternwards, dinner will be provided by McCray's Backyard BBQ.
