The following are three pages that I liked for inspiration of blog posts done well. They have a good mix of text and graphics.

Barkers Creek NC - A Well Presevrved Farmland Community
This is a great example of a photo blog post. Short descriptive paragraphs are followed by medium sized graphics to illustrate the points. Each photo is 500 pixels wide (not huge, but just big enough). The text does not go alongside the photo because there is not enough space and would look awkward. Each photo is watermarked with Mona's name.

Market Update on Larchmont NY PO - Single Family Homes
This example shows different kinds of graphics. The one at the top is narrow enough to align right ith text going around it on the left. The photo further down is a composite collage of two graphics. Notice also the drop shadow subtle effect which helps the graphic pop out a little. The charts on the page illustrate visually market conditions.

Notice the Market Reports on this page are a composite of an attractive photo along with a snapshot of a simple spreadsheet below. Informational narrative text surrounds the charts. Charts along can sometimes be boring! This is a great job of presentation.
