While at NAR in Las Vegas last week, I visited with the Assist to Sell people. I am wondering if anyone here is has experience with Assist to Sell. If so what is your general impression. I don't think it is for me but I like to know all the different approaches to our business.

My personal opinion about cut rate real estate companies, is that they take money out all our pockets every chance they get. Much like the guys that cross the picket lines.

Frank - I don't work with buyers, so I can only tell you what my agents say. Basically and according to them, Assist to Sell clients are just as crazy as FSBO, but stupid enough to buy a program from a con man. Not sure how to read that, but you asked.

In our market, Realtors see the Assist-2-Sell folks the same way as a FSBO. If you bring a buyer to that home, expect to do twice the work because the seller is not properly represented by a full service agent. It is also my impression that homes listed with them don't seem to sell as quickly or for as good a price.

Frank, it is unlikely to work here as the commissions are already some of the lowest in the nation. You need to schedule our lunch my man.
