Earlier this year, over the summer, the Town of Parker unveiled the latest addition to its recreation opportunities in town.  I was working with two different relocations in May and was able to pass by as the building neared completion.  But I had not been back since, until now.  The Parker Field House opened ready to host all types of sports enthusiasts, young and old.  

I had heard from others that this place was great.  Just gorgeous.  They were all right.  Even the outside is so tastefully done, yes - it looks like a field house - but it is so tastefully done and pleasant and just fits into the surroundings so well.

Once inside, you will realize that this is a truly wonderful addition to the the community.  If you are looking to move to the area or anywhere in Parker, this is a facility that will meet many of your needs.  Its ready to host sports enthusiasts of all varieties and ages.  There is an indoor sports field - looking mostly like a soccer field, but is transferable to meet other needs as well.  An evening when I was there recently, a ladies softball team was practicing on one side with a boys team (not sure what sport) working out on the other side, with a drop privacy curtain between them.  It is quite the set up.  Along side the sports field runs batting cages. There is also a fantastic gym for basketball and volleyball, a state of the art workout facility and a climbing wall.  And in the far corner is the indoor in-line hockey rink, which has been the talk of the town in the hockey circles.  There is even an indoor playground for the littlest tykes as well. 

With all of these great facilities, there are plenty of leagues and clinics offered, one of my children is in a soccer clinic there and they love it.  I love that so much through was put into the design - I can sit and watch my child from a comfortable spot or from above while working out.  And the location is very convenient as well - just off of Parker Rd a bit south of Lincoln.    

The Parker Field House truly is a great addition for the community and it is just one more reason so many people are looking to make Parker their home.  The Parker Field House is located at 18700 Plaza Drive in Parker.
