Big old boring insurance companies used to all advertise the same way. They were afraid they'd look unprofessional if they tried something new or different or unique. Then along came Met Life, and made insurance more approachable by using the the Peanuts crew, like Charlie Brown and Linus and the dog (whose name now escapes me). Other insurance companies cowered in fear when they saw this ridiculous idea. Then they panted in envy as Met Life began to pick up market share. Still insurance companies conitnued to use direct marketing and direct response advertising in serious ways. Then along came another company that was willing to stand out from the crowd. It was a company with a funny name. They took their name to an advertising agency (just like mine), and asked what they could do to be unique. One junior person said "Your name sounds like Quack". It may be a duck...the Aflac Duck, and the rest is history. You can stand out as a real estate agent too. It takes courage "yes", and it's fun and you can create your own brand that will have everyone gravitating to your agency to work with you. Try it...and let me know how it works for you! Lois K. True commentary on what attracts buyers for any product!  It's always best to think outside the box--others appreciate the originality and creativity.  Thanks for the post!

We are all selling the same products (property) however what our real product is, is ourselves.  I always tell that to new agents.  Thanks for the reminder.

Hi Lois,  I've added you as an associate and you can add me by clicking above my photo!

I do a lot of events that relate to my real life, dog rescue, community projects etc and always get a lot of press where I am mentioned as "local Realor Rebecca Chambliss...."

I did a big community Spay Day which provided free spay and neuter for 150 animals in one day

I helped horses left behind in the recent CA wildfires get supplies when they were out and no one was allowing anyone in or out of the town...(talk about having to get resourceful)

I am working on another animal related huge community project..and fund raiser.  I always let the press know what is going on and usually end up on the front page of the local paper...

I'm super passionate about animal Rescue and it's a joy to be able to do these things, and it attracts like minded people for real buisness.

Hi Lois...it's hard in our business as we're all individuals selling a service, People identify with a name or face, I'm planning an exit in 5 years and Katerina Gasset and I are working on a name or Image people can identify me with yet have a product that is generic as I slow down and let others Run my business, or maybe Sell.

Colonel Saunders used his name, and is long from the scene now, yet everyone related to his name for Fried Chicken.

A fellow Realtor, Russell Shaw uses No Hassle Real Estate, and sells over 500 homes a year and is heading to 1,000, yet Russell says has not been face to face with his clients for years. That appeals to me! That's a good business model, that we all could have, instead of image advertising ourselves? Or is that wrong! The Colonel certainly disproves that!

So what's wrong if anything to use Fred Carver Real Estate Team if I plan to slow down in few years ,

Cheers, have an awesome day!
