Here are a some great uses for every day items:

 

1.  When you're done juicing lemons, use them to wipe down your cutting board.

 

2.  Pour the last bit of wine through a coffee filter to separate the sediment.

 

3.  Use a Thermos as a cocktail shaker.  It keeps the ice extra-cold and doubles as a strainer.

 

4.  Snip the corner of an envelope to make a funnel for spices.

 

5.  Break up hardened brown sugar with a cheese grater.

 

6.  Place a bunch of fresh basil on your outdoor table to repel mosquito's.
