Sellers...where are your pictures?

This is geared to anyone where the seasons change a lot, especially if you have snow on the ground.

I have buyers wondering all the time what the yard looks like without the snow.  Is it green, is there flowers.  Is the yard full of dog droppings.

Showing some year round pictures can be the difference in selling to an interested buyer or having them pick a home where the sellers have shown off the other season around the home.

In this digital age, the cost of a half dozen pics is very minimal.

Do yourself a favor and set some out.

What else is hiding under the snow.  A summer picture could put a buyers mind at ease.

William - I guess I can consider being in Florida a big advantage in this sense. Here you can save on some photos even in the digital age (LOL)

I sometimes wonder why photos showing bare trees & heavy snow are displayed during spring and summer months.  Great reminder about the benefits of updating photos with the change of seasons.

Just got a new listing and, of course, the day I went to take pictures it snowed.  Very pretty but will be going back for more when the slightest hint of green appears!  A winter photo in June just screams "stale listing!"

Bill, this is something we have talked about for a long time.  I know I have seen year round pics in most of your listing.

Bill...

And how about the roof? Does it need a new one? It's hard to tell when it's covered with snow.

Great points everyone.  YOu get the idea of where I was going.  It can be very challanging in the north country to sell in the winter.

I can see how that could be an issue.  Snow can hide a lot of stuff.

We never use "snow" pictures in the MLS.  We always use the best summer or fall pictures we can get our hands on.  Makes it a little easier for buyers to picture the landscaping around a home.

Bill, There are few places in southern Utah that have snow days but agree your idea of year 'round photos are an asset to a property in snow country.
