Watch Out for the Moving Trucks and All the Traffic in College Station~~coming soon!

It's that time of the year.....when all the Penske and UHaul trucks are needed in our area to move the Aggies back home.  I saw a bunch of them rolling in this morning on my way to work.

We see this every year at change of all semesters.  The local companies have to get trucks from all parts of the country to have enough to move the students.  Almost everything in our cities revolves around Texas A&M.  We are very fortunate to have both Texas A&M University and Blinn College located in Bryan and College Station.

With classes ending, final exams coming on the 7th through 12th, and graduation on December 14 and 15, the restaurants will be crowded to capacity and the traffic on Texas Avenue will be a disaster.  If you don't need to get out of your house during that time, you will be safe.  Otherwise, try not to plan to eat out during the week of graduation and stay off Texas Avenue

Then back in January, we will watch the pilgrimage back to A&M and Blinn.  We love our students!  Really.

How funny and probably very true!  Congrats on being featured on Localism.

Hi Jessica.  Thanks so much.  Yes our students 'run' our town, but we love them all.

We all look forward to the time where all the locals get to take back the town during winter break!  However, our town would be lost without our students!  We count on them to survive!!!

We tend to migrate to the north side of town during graduation weekend.  You are right.. we need and love our students.

Trey, I think I'll just stay home.  With all the construction on Texas Avenue and the rest of the town, it's taking your life in your own hands.  The computer is safer.

Good time to stay off the road. Wow take a city full of reckless drivers and put them in somthing big and heavy.  Stay clear

Kay,  What would we do without them?  But it is nice to have a breather a couple times a year. I think I wait on the Christmas shopping til after graduation.

Ginger, You are so right.  I'm staying at home as much as I can while they are moving.  But don't we love them?

With D and D Movers just down from Classic RealtyGMAC Real Estate's offices, we do see our fair share of moving trucks here in Bryan/College Station, Texas!
