How many of you are working in an office where you have a work environment?  I am finally in an office where I am surrounded by other professionals who are in the office to work.  It makes me drive harder and show up earlier.  I want to show the other people in my office that I am here to make an impact and to work hard.  Already it is paying off with new listings.  People I have been talking to for months are finally willing to list their properties because I am now spending the time in the office to communicate with them on a more regular basis.

It isn't to say that I have been slacking off, but when I am in the office surrounded by people who are working I feel less nerves about making those calls and asking for the business.  It is a refreshing change of pace.

This Long Island Realtor stopped working in the office within the first couple of weeks of being a Realtor.  I found the atmosphere social and occupied with Realtors who had nothing to do and no place to go.

I have worked from home for years...surrounded by my file cabinets, electronics, white boards....I start working in the wee hours of the morning and can safely sit and work at my desk to all hours of the night (maybe I should go back to the office and not work so hard).

Like you I try to go into the office every day unless of course I am working with a client.  I have found that it has definitely helped with my business and I have learned so much from many of the other agents.  Working at home would mean way too many distractions.

I have a home office as well.  I use it even more than the office at my company, but recently I have found working with other hardworking people helps.  This has been a tough market year for most of the country.  I like listening to what other people who are making money have to say.  In my old office there were 2 situations.  1) no one was there and 2) everyone who was there was just for social reasons.  My new office is 180 degrees from that.  I love it and it is way more "fun" than working in my house.
