Motivational Power Quote

Influence Through Example

“Example is not the main thing in influencing others.

It is the only thing.”

 Albert Schweitzer,

As I see it . . . . . . .

Influence through example

In every walk of our personal life and business we influence by example.

Our examples can have a positive influence and inspire a person to greater achievement and into action. Other examples can have the opposite effect.

People are watching us and our actions all of the time. It can be a co-worker, a manager, our students, a customer, our children, our grandchildren or our spouses.

No there not glaring at us, what is happening is through the normal course of human interaction and it goes almost un-noticed we are sending out an example and will have an impact on us, on the people around us or in a business relationship.

The question becomes what example are you sending?

As business professionals, parents and grandparents we are being judged through the examples that we are sending out to others.

Be aware of the examples that you’re setting through your action and remember that we influence though example.

Lou you are absolutely right.  We should all be mindful of the example we set.
