Kim - I'm already hooked up with Tammy on Pinterest - it's really addictive and fun! I've pinned a few of my own photos and had them repined so I know it works. You just have to watch how much time you spend - some people are on it for hours and hours a day! Hope to see you on Pinterest too!
I've blogged about using Pinterest as an online presentation tool to share with decorating clients - I guess I can set up a Staging category too...
I love the categories and if there is something I want to pin that doesn't have one, I simply make one! Ilove it! We do SEO for a food channel website and so I love posting all their yummy recipes. Works brilliantly for that! Thanks for the reblog Kim... and are WE connected on Pinterest? If not, WHY not? HA HA..
Kristine, I just clicked to follow you. So, we should be good to go. I can see where you may have to limit your time :)
Julia, please come back and share your link here. I'd love to read it.
Hi Tammy, I'm following you now, so that would be great if you could follow back. I'm having difficulty including my "follow me on Pinterest" button on my blog settings. Shoot me an email, thanks!
Kim - I've just signed up for a Pinterest Webinar to learn how to use it. Gosh, and I could have just read Tammy's post!
Kim thanks for re-posting this info . It sounds like another fun site to promote yourself. Bookmarked.
Hi Kim--thanks for this reblog. I have a Pinterest account and have not used it. I think I will follow Tammy's tutorial now!
Hi Sally, Tammy is my go-to from now on for all things SEO related.
Thanks, Anna. I think its a great platform for stagers.
I just started last week, Janet and didn't really know how to effectively use it other than just playing around with the boards. Tammy's post was timely.
Bookmarked this post. Signed up for the webinar. Been invited to join pinterest. Heading there now to open an account. I think my brain is on overload!!
Kim, I haven't gone down the Pinterest path yet. Seems like there should be 36 hours a day instead of 24 to cover all the bases and run my brokerage.
I completely understand, Karen. Its tough to wrap your head around all the social media avenues and maximize them.
Hi John, now if someone could help us require less sleep we might get through it all! :)
Hi Kim. You know I signed up today and was not able to get on..it was full I was 5 min late...aargh!
Thanks for the re-blog Kim. I have heard there is an issue because Pininterest deems any photos you post to be theirs? Or they can be used for anything or something. Any truth to that? I was not going to post any of my photos on there for that reason and I heard another stager saying she was pulling hers off.
Cheryl, my daughter had the same problem. She's on a "wait list". Try back and hopefully, the problem will resolve itself.
Hi Shar, I went straight to the SEO expert, Tammy Emineth, to comment on your question.
Thanks for the kind words Kim! I really appreciate it. Totally thought I was already following you. Just corrected that mistake. HA! Will get you a cup full of pinterest here shortly! ;-)
Hi Kim ~ this is a great reblog about using Pinterest so thanks for sharing it. All I've done so far is sign up, but as soon as I get some free time I'll follow Tammy's suggestions.
One more thing I have yet to figure out....this post will be very helpful, thanks!
Maureen and Sharon, that "to-do" list just never clears up does it? Best of luck to you both! Thanks for coming by.
