Springs Preserve Winter Lights Festival

Springs Preserve is having their first Winter Lights Festival. There will be more than a half million solar powered lights throughout the 8 acre botanical garden. Because they are using LED lights, it is much better for the environment. If conventional lights were used, it would use 90 percent more energy.

There will be live entertainment, including local bands, carolers, and a live puppet show. Also, there will be food available from the on-site restaurant, Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck.

Hours for the Winter Lights Festival are Friday thru Sunday 6PM to 10PM beginning Nov. 23. It will be open daily from December 24 to December 30. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for children. Children 4 years and younger are free.

I love to take the kids out to see the Christmas Lights and shows! We have only a couple of places that are outstanding in our area and we see them every year!

Roberta, Thanks for the info! As a new Father I will probably start doing these type of things more. Especially the lights!

Also, the springs preserve website is outstanding! Wow!

Charles: Sorry to repeat myself but you need to visit Las Vegas and bring the kids.

Rey: Congrats on being a new father! You do need to get out there and enjoy the pretty lights! I haven't been to Springs Preserve yet but I am going to try to make it this weekend.
