Crown Point Indiana Parkinson’s support group will meet this evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The meeting will take place at the Marion Education Center, Franciscan St. Anthony Health, 1201 S. Main St., Crown Point, Indiana 46307.
Tonight there will be a guest speaker on Tai Chi. Research shows that Tai Chi may help Parkinson’s patients regain their balance.
The Crown Point Indiana Parkinson's support group will start off their evening meeting with a potluck of breakfast items. Come join us for fun and fellowship.
The Crown Point Indiana Parkinson's support group meets once a month on the third Monday of the month from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
The group is not only for patients but also for caregivers, family and friends.
Parkinson's is a unique disease. Individuals often have different symptoms making it hard to detect. Michael J. Fox is diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1991 at age 30. Michael J. Fox is the most recognizable advocate for Parkinson's Disease. He launched the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in 2000.
Crown Point Indiana Parkinson's support group welcomes new people, there are no fees.
