On page 45 in Seth Godin's new book,Meatball Sundae , he says "I could talk about how the millions of full- and part-time real estate brokers are facing an uncertain future."

Does this scare anyone else? It shouldn't. We should be excited about this as long as we are willing to adapt to our market. See, Seth's point is that companies can not stay locked in their ways and try to get the market to adapt to their business practices. That's why travel agents were caught off guard by sites like expedia.com and why many bookstores can't compete well with Amazon.

This discussion and more will be had in my next book, Stand Out, Stick and Stay--Ideas To Shake Up Your Real Estate Business.

1 Comments on Brokers Face An Uncertain Future

Uncertain because they can not adapt and work with the changing business model. I see fewer agent doing more transactions for less money per transaction and less contact with the client face to face. Hope to see you in the business next year.
