If you are in need of a GPS system, now is a great time to buy. I paid about $1,000 for my first one and about $700 for my current one.

The Garmin 200 is out and is quite a deal. The list price is around $428.00, but I've seen it on line for LESS THAN $200.00! It's one of the more basic models. Garmin and other companies have more expensive versions, but I think that you'll find this one to be sufficient.

If you've never had a GPS system, you'll get hooked. I recommend it highly...

So do you need a monthly plan with the system?  I have thoughts about this when I was on my last trip to KY.

I'm definitely getting one...right now, I'm checking out different ones, so thanks for the review of this one.  It's no fun printing out directions from one listing to the next and then getting thrown off track if a showing gets cancelled and you're left to figure out how to get to the next one LOL

DAVE...there is no monthly cost. You will have to update your maps every now and then, but only as you see fit. I think the street updates are around, $79.95. I do it about every 2 years.

No other expenses.
