I wish I knew about this a few years ago...we were always giving toys away...my daughter had plenty. I know they probably won't take stuffed animals because of health issues but she has so many.

Neal, Actually with events like this, the organizations like new toys for the kids. There are other places that will take used toys in good shape tho. I still have many stuffed animals, you may want to hold on to those for your little one :)

Lysa, These events are wonderful for the children (and everyone).  Here they will only accept new, unused and boxed toys which is a shame, I think children could care less about boxes or if they were new.

We've had a few toy runs up here Lysa...such a neat thing to see. All those bikers carrying toys and Teddy bears on their bikes!

Carole, With toy runs it is usually new unwrapped toys. Like I told Neal, I'm sure other places will accept used toys, it would probably be easy to find them on the internet. I'm not sure of the reason behind this tho.

Monika, It is neat, and I'll make sure to charge my batteries tomorrow night so I can take a lot of photos for you guys too!

Joan, You're right, this time of year does bring out the best in people, however, in the biker community it is all year long ;) All one has to do is ask and the bikers come out to help.
