coffee bean, mooers realtyAhhhh..feet hit the floor, automatic coffee maker brewing your favorite blend.  Are you a coffee drinker?  Do you add a twig of this, a shot of honey or twist of that to make it your special elixir?  Or do you drink it black? Over 85 million cups of java consumed daily.  Do you have a special travel mug?  Do you enjoy the private routine of a warm cup between both hands, the aroma waffling visible skyward?  Does your business offer coffee to the employees and customers?  Are you the type that when waiting for that tire line up, that you stumble over to the coffee urn in the corner...and sample some mud..I mean coffee that you know has been there for awhile? To the point of considering carbon dating it for the exact time it was brewed?  Does this type of coffee and the one in machines remind you of just plain old hot water with a brown crayon dipped in it briefly?  Do you have a few cups to get the gears going in the morning and that is it? Does your coffee mug have ten foot pole marks all over it because you can not stomach the stuff in your system..because you don't get your caffeine the coffee way?  Mountain Dew, Jolt your preferred liquid medium to get caffeinated? Do you carefully select, personally grind and make the stuff according to world class coffee protocol or is yesterday's zapped in the microwave for a minute fine and dandy for your tongue and nose?  Inquiring minds want to know...are you doing your part to sample the java in your daily routine and a major part of that 85 million cup fraternity? Do you drink one right after another and find it would be easier to have a pole, bottle and slow IV drip of the magic bean?  Personally, if you have not had a cup of Tim Horten's coffee, you are missing out.  Got hooked in Canada watching two boys compete in hockey each winter week during a slew of games.  That stuff is high quality coffee and I'm not that picky.  What's your pleasure when it comes to coffee?

7 Comments on Over 85 Million Cups Of Coffee Enjoyed Daily! How Do You Drink It?

Oooooooh cofffeeeeee 8-P

I must admit that I would be better off hooked up to an IV of good coffee, but then I would miss out on the pure enjoyment I get from drinking it!!!

The best deal I ever had was working with one of the folks that owns Kaladi Brothers up here, and for the work I was doing I got free coffee for a year!!! I was in heaven!

I recently had to change from my usual Toasted Marshmellow Swirl Tan with Whip though to just a plain ol Toasted Marshmellow Americano... My butt was getting big from all the lattes LOL They need to have disclosures at coffee houses! "Drinking more than one latte a day may increase your GIRTH!"

Coffee is the elixir of life. Yes, I grind the beans, and use a French press for my dose. My favorite coffee is Kona, must be something special about those Hawaiian beans.  French roast is perfect for a mid-afternoon sweet snackand coffee jolt. Whoa, this starting to sound like a post! Thanks for asking Andrew, gotta go have another cup of joe.

Its Box Of Joe at Tim Hortens...ever had some of their coffee? Some one told me besides caffeine, they have added nicotine to make it something you can not live without.  Never smoked but would be an unhappy pup without the morning black coffee.  Thanks for dropping in Bonnie..got me thinking of Kona beans...tried them last spring on vacation in Hawaii...there is no bad coffee right?  Although folks that get cranked on instant don't know what they are missing.  Flavor crystals or not....it lacks horsepower!

I have recently given up my daily 5+ cups of good ol'Timmies, but i have to tell you the first 2 weeks were pure hell, I couldn't sleep, I was easily agitated, and my motivation was way down. But I seem to be on the mend. I plan to use my former coffee fund for weekends getaways!

You're right Joe about the withdrawal.  I am usually up at 5am to walk to a lake dam and back where I live.  With coffee waiting when I get back...all brewed. But if I have the rare sunday where I sleep in to say 8am, I wake up with a head ache where the body is saying, "hey...where is that black two cups of coffee you have every day?"  I am reminded I am a few hours out of timing for the coffee. Good for you as you look for a new addiction.  How about real estate?  All Pro...all right with the custom blend.  Have always bagged the sugar and milk..but will have to try the splice with hot chocolate since christmas is coming.  Thanks for typing in!
