A restaurant and banquet room are just off the main clubhouse entrance, plus a fitness room, library/computer room, arts and crafts room, and meeting rooms.

What a wonderful community.  I keep hearing of examples of people in their mid 70's who are not recliner types, one of them is the mother of a lady I met at Nordstrom's.  She told mer her mother takes a two hour walk in the hills every day...I love the collage of the community you put together. A

Toni - Heritage  Springs in Trinity Florida sounds like the perfect 55+ place to live and play! Debbie is trying to get her parents to sell their large southern home and acreage and move to a 55+ community. No big lawns to keep up, smaller home to maintain, close neighbors if needed in an emergency and fun social areas to make new friends. What's not to love about a 55+ community!

Alexandra - You know what they say: 70 is the new 40! It is a beautiful community, thank you.

Joan - I don't think they use the word retirement; they probably refer to it as being leisurely active :)

John - they would love it-the friendship and community feeling is great in 55+ complexes. And someone else does all the work outside - no matter what the weather.

Toni- I love the collage you did of Heritage Springs!  55 is now the new 40 and Heritage Springs looks like just the spot.  It's nice to be able to travel and not worry about the house and lawn.

Kathy - I did that one in Picasa. Thanks. I just liked a page on Facebook called Silver Tsunami and it's about the senior revolution and how seniors are not what they used to be :)
