Fat Tuesday was given the name because this is the last day before Lent. Lent is the Religious observance which is the preparation for Good Friday and Easter. You can find Fat Tuesday celebrations here in Fullerton at Steamer’s Jazz Club; in POSCH restaurant in Irvine ; at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Anaheim ; Marlin’s Bar and Grill in Huntington Beach in fact Downtown Huntington Beach is closing up the street and doing their own version of Mardi Graz celebration.
