Eugene Field Bingo Fundraiser
Friday, February 24, 6 to 8 pm - Eugene Field’s 1st Annual Family Bingo Night sponsored by the Parent Teacher Club. The evening promises Bingo, raffle baskets, food, and fun all in the school gymnasium. All proceeds go toward the purchase of a mobile computer lab.

Wine & Jazz Festival Series 
Four intimate evenings of wine & music and one big festival to sample it all with style
Saturday, Feb. 25, 7:30 pm – The first of four features the Hughes-Trindade Trio in a Latin groove, at Howard Hinsdale Wine Cellars. Tickets are $15 

Live Music is back for First Friday at Creekside! 
The Shamrock Trio consists of locals Eadie Anelli, Stephen Landolt & Brad Johnson kicking out some great Irish tunes using a bunch of different instruments. So, get ready to do some toe tappin' from 6:30-8:45 Friday, March 2nd in the Commons Hall outside Creekside Grill's Grotto Martini Bar. “Reflections” and “Signs of Spring” First Friday at Lunaria Gallery
March 2, 7-9 pm Lunaria Gallery will feature the oil and pastel painting of artist Jane Castelan Buccola during the month of March. The exhibit, entitled “Reflections,” will focus on the colors and shapes created by sunlight as it dances on water and strikes physical objects in its path. Also, Boutique Romantique continues this month with “Signs of Spring”.

New Class! Art of Business, Business of Art
Friday February 24 at Silverton Art Center Lunch and Learn! Bring a lunch and join local artists and business people for this series of discussions focusing on art for use in business applications like logos, brochures, and promotional literature, and turning your art into a business with the use of websites, marketing and social media. Featured speakers include Jennifer Rosa of Earthehosting web services, graphic artist Elyse McGowan, and more. 
Cost: $5 for SAA members/$10 nonmembers

Galaxy of Goats Art Show at the Borland Gallery 
Opening reception Friday March 2, 6:00-9:00, gallery hours Saturday and Sundays 12:00-4:00
Silver Creek Animal Sanctuary and the Silverton Arts Association are honored to host “A Galaxy of Goats” for the month of March, in the Borland Gallery. By featuring the real and beautiful faces of the unique creatures, SCAS cares for at their wonderful facility, they are happy to share the serene, hilarious, sacred and healing presence of these animals, to enrich our community! There will be so much to see and feel it will make you look at goats in a whole new light. All are welcome to come and support the animals and art in your own backyard! Come visit pygmy goats Jazzy and Jethro at the Silverton Art Center on Friday March 2 from 6:00-8:00, Saturday March 3 or Sunday March 4th from 1:00-3:00. 

Insect-O-Rama! 
Bring the kids out to the Junior Gardener’s Club at The Oregon Garden on March 10 at 10am to see 35 different insects and learn how they are each beneficial. Kids will see pollinators, predators, parasitoids and more! Then they will make their own bug box to take home. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and activities designed for children ages 5 – 10.
