Yikes, I haven't seen a price like that around here since the early 1980s. That seems like a great price for such a nice home on a large lot. And I'm pleasantly surprised to see the mature trees. I haven't been to Houston, but woodsy lots weren't part of my stereotype.

I sold a duplex on Blossom Hill Road in San Jose for a "Janisch" 25-30 years ago. The wife was a CPA working at the San Jose IRS office. Any relationship?

Hi Lloyd. It's a great house on a nice lot in a mature developed subdivision close to everything. And yes it's a great price for it's condition and the area. Probably pales in comparison to your area by a huge longshot!! And No, as far as I know no branch of our family tree has ever extended out to California. But you never know from somewhere back in Germany we may be realted a couple of centuries back!!
