Hiring someone who has actually been around the block with these things is key! Nice post.
Ginny those are all valid reasons why Short Sales have increase, but there is one other. Lenders are starting to encourage Borrowers who have fallen behind on their payments to consider a Short Sale before they find themselves in a position that the Lender has to foreclose. In those cases I am sure that you will see a quicker response to a Short Sale request then you might otherwise.
