Buyers love REBATES....This we know.

Rebates are a very good thingSo, I did a quick survey of the agents in my sphere...and guess what?Cash for all

Most agents don't return their hard earned commission money to their clients....What?

As some of you know, I started my first RE job at ZipRealty where Rebates were a keystone of this fledgling company. I used them and became very comfortable with how they work.

I still offer my Buyers a Rebate, however, now that my focus is more in the Luxury Homes market in Pacific Palisades and Santa Monica, my rebate structure has changed.

Go to either of my WebSites L.A./exclusive/ or Westside-Homes under "Rebates" to get more info on how

my Rebate works!

As a rule, I don't normally give up a portion of my commission back to my clients. My commission is what I earn for the valued-added services that I provide. There are instances when I will contribute some portion to cover an expense paid out of closing, to help out a client that is cash strapped.

You can do whatever you like in your business model, but my question is... what do the President's daughters and a B movie poster have to do with your post?

Is ZipRealty still offering rebates? I think they removed it from their website.

Hello Thomas,

We, too, offer rebates of up to 2% to our home buyers of new homes in the Atlanta, Georgia area. The search engine on our website allows the buyers to handle the initial searches so we can afford to pass substantial savings to them in the form of a cash rebate.

How do you get your message across to consumers? The 60 minutes piece on March 13, 2007 really shed some light on this issue so consumers now know how to avail themselves to buyer rebates that save them a tremendous amount of money when buying a home.
