23 Comments on I want my Stinking Comments!
Frank - I know they're trying, but it's driving me crazy!
Kim - ROTFL!
It's very frustrating... (sigh)
How did you get a picture of ME at my desk? AR seems to have fallen off the track a bit lately, especially after this big, new changeover.
Kathy - I just got my iPhone a few weeks ago and still don't have email on it. I usually respond through my outlook.
Carolyn - Very.
Yeah, my comments are gone too.
I can post a comment from my droid X, but it is extremely difficult and sometimes words jump to the sart of my post while typing. Makes for a very disjointed post that makes no sense.
Connie, Imagine how frustrated the AR team is in their efforts to resolve the issues. I simply go to my points summary page and click on my most recent blogs. I comment on the comments then go to each commenter"s blog and comment on their blog. I agree it is frustrating and yet there is a relatively easy solution. We will have our comments back soon ... I just feel it in my bones :-)
I've just been checking in with my most recent posts to see if there are comments. It's driving me nuts too.
Connie, I feel your pain regarding the misplaced comments. In the meantime, focus on getting email set up on your iPhone. It's too convenient not to have, once you have it. I love my iPhone and iPad2. ;-) Best wishes always.
Eric -Everybody can't look like that on their computer! :)
Than - I don't even think I want to try that.
I think that everyone agrees with you. I finally just gave up. I wrote down the date that I gave up and will come back to return comments when they get them going again. Sheeeeeesh. It has been forever.
It's hard to keep track of and very time consuming to follow up on each comment. I gave up a long time ago trying to do this. The best I can do is subscribe to as many people as possible who regularly comment and visit their blogs every so often.
I second that emotion....whoa, dating myself there. Now, into a rousing chorus of "For she's a jolly good fellow....."
Someday, maybe, we will get them back.
Kathleen - OMGosh that helped me so much. I've been doing just that now!
Chris Ann - That's the problem, some people are still commenting on other posts besides the most recent. Surely they'll fix this soon.
Richard - I want an IPad2 so bad I can taste it!!
Don - I remember months ago when they disappeared for a few days. Then they all came at once. Now if they do it that way again it'll be a nightmare! LOL
Hi Connie,
Here is the funny thing about all of this. I never thought about looking at my comments through the home page, I just automatically went back through posts. HA!!! So, if and when it gets fixed, I'll be REALLY excited!!
Bryan - I subscribe to many bloggers but because many who comment are new, I find it as an important part of engaging them and am fastidious about responding to all of them.
Ron - ROTFL!
Cindy - By doing it on the home page, I can delete the comment as I go through them. That way I know I didn't miss anyone.
It's driving me crazy too Connie. I know I can go to my points page and check out posts that I've commented on for responses (which will no doubt be lower than normal) but there's no way of knowing who is commenting on my posts unless I monitor my stats page EVERY day to see if anything changes. I just hope that when this function is up and running again that they go back in time and "report" all of the comments. UGH!
Donna - OMGosh I just got my first email notification about your comment in Forever!!! Hopefully that means they're getting close to fixing it.
OMG - when you select "delete selected" the friggin' thing deletes them all. I just wiped out what I was saving (sigh).
Oh Geez Caroline, I've done that before!
