Yet another Bellissimo and Stadium jumping event in as the Wellington World Turns! The best news is that they have finally set their differences aside for the betterment of the Equestrian community in Wellington Florida and in the long run their own successes.
After a year of constant fighting and law suits being thrown all over the place there is peace at last.

Stadium Jumping Gets Wellington' s approval
They will be keeping the National Horse show and the Winter Equestrian Festival at Bellissimo's property for many years to come. That is good news for the people who own property around the Equestrian club. Those that are hacking distance to the showgrounds pay a premium for the benefit of being a horse ride away from all the winter action and shows. When Stadium Jumping made plans to move to the southern part of Wellington known as Wellington Preserve, many property owners were up in arms because their values went down significantly just from that move. Naturally, the people living near the current showgrounds wanted it to stay there.
Now Stadium Jumping is saying that they will NOT be moving over to Wellington Preserve. They have cancelled their plans to build a new facility there. The most important thing is that the show is not leaving Wellington!
Stadium Jumping transferred its Wellington licenses for horse show dates that are given to them by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to a new WEP subsidiary called Equestrian Show Holdings.
All lawsuits against each other have been dismissed! That is a good thing! This is so good for the Wellington Community and for the Equestrian stability here.
WEP has so far invested $135 Million dollars in land and $5 Million dollars in improvements. They will be spending another $ 5 million to $10 million in improvements over the next few years.
So it is time to Celebrate in Wellington Florida. Just a reminder that the National Horse Show next week December 4 -9 and you can get your tickets there or on line at StadiumJumping.com.
