Socrates (know thyself) and Shakespeare (to thine own self be true) were onto to something way back when. Common sense holds up. It is very important for Real Estate agents to know their expertise, their skill banks and their limitations. You owe this to first YOU, then your client and then everyone else

ME ONLY AS AN EXAMPLE TO PROVE THE POINT

I will use myself as an example. I am a full service Real Estate agent. I will help you to get in or out of any Real Estate transaction...successfully.

SELLER AGENTS AND BUYERS GET GOOD CONSULTATION TOO

Then, I am a sellers agent making sure that the sales process for my client runs optimum. My marketing skills get to come out and play. I have helped buyers, but I am not able to spend the time necessary under my full service banner. On special occasions, I will assist the buyer. On normal occasions, I refer to people I can trust.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT

I am a landlords agent. I believe the owner/landlord takes the bigger risk, has more exposure and plenty to lose. I find my contract abilities, communications and pro-activeness coming alive when I manage select property. I honor and respect all tenants/renters and will insure that they get what was agreed to as well

MY ACTION PLAN

I work independently and my hours are usually task driven. I perform all work needing to get done and then I rely heavily on email and cell phone contact after that. My famous tried and true 777 program has never let me down. I am available 7 days week from 7 a.m. to 7p.m. to help you as necessary

SELF-AWARENESS

What I am getting at is this. Being focused on who and what you are and when applying your gifts, talents, abilities and skills allows them to do all the work while you supervise. Knowing what they are is well worth the time to discover to. A lot of it has to do with attitude and self-awareness.

THE HEART...a persons best inner friend

Things that make your heart sing (not your mind or emotions) are what I gravitate toward. I have learned that wherever the heart goes, I go with it. Things that I have to tolerate are handled quickly and efficiently too. The inner being speaks from the heart...rewards follow if you listen

TICK-TOCK...I AM NOT A CLOCK

Find out what makes your self tick...then watch how things fall into place for you and are attracted to you. Good for you, your customers and your world becomes a better place

Travel well here

Richie:  What you write is so true.   I see the perfect example of this in my own son.  Brilliant mind, no doubt.  But he struggled at times with the subjects he wasn't enamored of.  The studies he loved?  Stand back!  He blew you away.  Totally motivated and you could see and feel the heat in him while he happily did his work.  It just all clicked for him then.  We ALL should be clicking and heated-up by the things we do.  Makes life so much more rewarding ...

Great post, as usual my friend ...

Gene
