For those who are doing "polyannas" or "secret Santas" my exteneded family is using a site that my mom found (she's an e-savvy older lady) called Elfster (www.Elfster.com) which has made the entire process SOOOOO much easier.

You log on, enter the participants and their email addresses, date to choose who "gets" whom, and a dollar limit.  Then each person confirms and sets up their own wishlist for all to view.  Exclusions can be set so that husbands can't get wives, and the like. 

Each person gets an email notification of who they have, and everytime a wishlist is updated, email allerts are sent out to the appropriate secret Santa.

There is a posting feature which allows for some fun comments, and anonymous questions can be posted to each person (like "what is your shoe size?") so no one has to give away who they have.

My own experience is that it has been totally fun and the best gift exchange we have ever done!!!
