On February 18th, 2012, Michele Incollingo danced her final performance with Dance Alive National Ballet in Carmina Burana at the Phillips Center for Performing Arts. Michele joined the company in 1983 and has performed in over 700 individual shows. Her talent and gift for dance is evident and it's no wonder she has been DANB's principal dancer for so many years.
A toast was held in her honor after her performance in Carmina on Saturday. Paula Delany spoke and declared February 18th "Michele Incollingo Day". Michele thanked her previous dance partners, the company and her salon customers and of course, the patrons, for making her long lived career possible. Michele will still be found at All About You Salon and possibly teaching at Pofahl's Dance Studio. She will be greatly missed at DANB.
