As I see it . . . . . . .

 

Mental toughness

 

If two people where competing on an equal footing of skills and their physical ability the person with mental toughness will create a completive advantage as a result their mental toughness.

 

Mental toughness is not always apparent in a person it reveals itself when someone is under a great deal of stress and their back is to the wall.

 

A person’s mental toughness will come to the surface in an athlete performance. They will stretch themselves beyond their highest standards and go far beyond their personal best of the past.

 

Metal toughness will keep a person in the game when their exhausted and want to quit.

 

There is a thin slice between winning and coming in second. The person that consistently finds them self in the winner’s circle has the mental toughness to get them there.

Lou, I'd say, even if one of them is slightly weak physically but tough mentally...will win! Mind Power is lot stonger than physical power.

We have all seen, individuals that we have observed, that are mentally tough. Actually, as I think about the quote, I would put myself in that same place.

Very true. The biggest asset we have is our mental ability.  Of course we probably never realize it.
