8 Comments on Unifying the RealBird mobile real estate websites
I love this. I'd noticed myself that mobile access to my site is on the increase too.
I just uploaded a new listing to Realbird today and love some of the new features you have. I used to need more than one property website to "get the job done." Now all I need is yours - You really do have everything covered! Great job!
BTW, I set up Twilio this week too. Awesome. :)
I'll need to check it out. So far I've been very pleased with the pro-system.
More great reasons for those who are not using Realbird to start using it.
Denise - We are glad to hear that you like the new options. More mobile marketing features to come soon. Did you notice the transferable SMS keywords option, that you requested?
Gabe - Thanks. Let us know how it works for you and thanks for being a PRO member
Marc - As always, thanks for your kind words about our services.
Oh yes I noticed the transferable SMS keywords. I've taken advantage of it already too. I like the fact that you can pick your own word. I picked "House." It works great. It's on a rider outside my listing as I write this and when I list the next home I can use it again. Love that. Good for my pocket book and good for the environment. You can't do better than that.
That's also what I love about you guys. You listen!
Hi Denise - Great ! I hope you get plenty of leads via the sign rider. We noticed that there are many phone calls placed on the SMS phone numbers by home buyers and we are capturing those inquiries for our members as well. And we are adding some really neat phone call functionality to your Twilion numbers next week. More on this in our next blog post.
We are also planning to use Twilio for SMS notification on consumer inquiries. Do you see that valuable, i.e. receiving SMS notification to your phone when somebody sends an inquiry by any of the RealBird channels (not just by the text code). In other words, is it valuable for you to be notified instantly on your phone rather than just via email when somebody is interested in your property ? You'll be able to set the timeframe of course, so inquiries at midnight won't ping your phone.
Thanks again for your great feedback
Good to hear you have more in the pipeline. I wondered what would happen if consumers actually called the number they're supposed to be texting.
I do think adding sms notifications for consumer enquiries would be a good thing to have. My email comes to my phone too, (as it does for pretty much all Realtors I would assume), but it doesn't hurt to have a back up solution if email is out or there is a lag. Plus, it's sometimes quicker to read an SMS than an email.
Keep up the great work. I'm loving the new layout too. And believe me, I'm hard to impress and set the bar pretty high! I'm really happy I continued with my pro membership at the end of last year. You guys have definitely made some great changes in the last few months.
Denise
Hi Denise - Thanks for the feedback and great to hear you like the new layout.
I think the SMS notification has a value as you said even when emails are accessed on the phone as well. I - for example - disabled push notification for new emails on my iPhone, because I reicieve way too many of them a day. But SMS alerts of inquiries would always pop-up on the smartphone with the client's phone number in the message.
