"Let's Say THANKS!"

I just heard about this website on my way to work this morning, and I want the world to know about it; so here I am.  Let's Say Thanks.com is a web site that gives anyone the opportunity to send a free printed postcard to our military personnel overseas.

This web site is supported by Xerox, who has compiiled a collection of messages that can be sent to our U.S. troops around the world.  The cards are beautiful designs that were created by our own children around the states ranging in ages from as young as seven, to fifteen years of age.  It doesn't get any easier than this to send a kind word, and reminder to our troops of how much we really appreciate what they are doping for all of us.

On the site there are additional links that allow you to see feedback from the troops receiving the messages, and other comments.

So spread the word friends................  LET'S SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

Thank you for this blog post, thanking our Troops is our responsibility.  I am a vietnam veteran and it took me years to get over how we were treated and despised by the folks back home.  Let the troops know you are behind them and thank them for all they are doing, or someday we may wish we had some troops to thank, as they sure are not doing what they do just for the money!

Thank you for this.  I'm a retired veteran also so this is a great way to remember our troops and let them know we care.

Steve -Thank you for being one of those veterans we owe so much to.  I remember the Vietnam War very well, and am so sorry for the way you vets were treated at that time.  I hope that with time you have come to be appreciated for what you did for us.  Thanks again.

David - Thanks to you also as one of our retired vets.  I just don't think the guys and gals of our military get enough  recognition for what they have done, and continue to do.  So thanks for spreading the word.

Linda -- I did a blog on this which was featured on the eco-all-stars several weeks ago when I reahed 100K points.  In that post I challenged the almost 60K  Active Rainers to send cards to the troops.  Thanks for getting the word out!

Hi Joan.  I'm sorry I missed your post a few weeks ago.  I'm going to go check it out right now.  I don't think it will hurt to repeat the information.  It's too important.  Thanks for stopping by to comment, and congratulations on getting to 100K, Wow!
