This is interesting if you are looking for a home on a budget in Palo Alto, it is under 1 million. Homes on a budget here in Santa Cruz county can be found for $300k - quite a difference having all those great tech companies and high paying jobs can make!
Jessica - I've always thought some of that tech money would make its way to SC for beach homes, but it doesn't do it often enough to raise prices much. I'll keep you in mind when I get SC leads.
Thanks John - We definitely do get many people from your side of the hill buying homes here and it does influence the prices but not as much.
