I went down into Cedarpines Highlands, Burnt Mill Canyon where I have some parcels listed.  I enjoy going there, because of the air and the coolness and the trees and the beauty that is there. There are OLD SOULS in this canyon.  The trees are enormous and plentiful. I once picked up acorns that were the size of those outdoor Christmas lights.  That oak tree is OLD.  It spreads out and makes a beautiful canopy.  I have a pic down at the bottom of this post.

Tall Pines in Cedarpines Highlands, down in Burnt Mill Canyon.  Blue skies, but the storm was coming in.

Monster in Cedarpines HighlandsThis is one of the monster trees down in the canyon.  YOu can't tell from the picture, but the base of this tree is probably 50 feet in diameter!

Here are two different oaks.  The acorns I pick up were from the one in the back, the green one.

Part of an enormous oak, with the wooded area in the background.

Some more gorgeous scenery down in Burnt Mill Canyon.

Hows this for a large tree?

Blue skies and tall trees.                                                    Looking upslope from the giant oak.

I am a backpacker...where exactly is this and is there hiking/back country-camping? Thanks for the pictures!

Thanks for sharing.  Big trees and wonderful country.  All my listings have little trees that are just right for subdivisions but no big honkers.

Thanks Holly!  Hope to work with you as well! I love to take pictures up here in Paradise.  I have some awesome pictures that I am going to start blowing up and selling.  Got to get a website going for it though...
