By
Real Estate Agent with Remax - Bryan College Station

Legendary Evel Knievel died today at age 69.  Known for all his daredevil motorcycle jumping.  I remember as a child going-to the Astrodome in Houston to watch him jump over a group of buses.  During his daredevil life  he suffered many broken bones, has almost died in several of his accidents. The legend he leaves with me in my Real Estate Career is although I may have some failures and fall. I have get back up brush my knees of and get back into the Real Estate ring.  God Bless You and your legend shall live on Knievel!

I was a fan. My little boy even likes to watch the old jumps.

Who would have thought he ever would have died of natural causes.  What a boring way to go for Evil.  I'm sure he would rather have flown to heaven on his motorcycle.

Ginger, I'm with Dan on this one, the least that Evel could have done was to go down in a blaze of glory!

I shed a tear or two yesterday for Evil. I was a bike-riding little boy during his heyday. Its a wonder I didn't break anything considering the ramps we made to jump our bikes. We'll lift a glass for him tonight.

Hi Ginger, I was going to post about Evil Kneival too.  It is hard to believe that he is 69 years, but then I am about to 60. Oh my that is unbelievable too. There is more to the story. Here is a link to the rest of the story http://www.breakingchristiannews.com/articles/display_art.html?ID=3873

Ginger, Evel was a daredevil extraordinaire and provided great entertainment and suspense for all of us with his theatrics. He was certainly someone who went for it. Remember him jumping a canyon once?

Ginger, I found this tribute to Evel K sweet.  You turned it into a great analogy to relate to real estate.   Thanks for your blog.

Ginger.... I was out last night and saw this on TV... I had to shake my head twice. In any case, nice tribute.

Question... what year did you seem him in the Astrodome?  thanks
