11 Comments on Dog Loses to Kitty...Some Days You're the Chaser, Some Days the Chased!
Suzanne,
We have a friend in Utah who has a big white cat (really big not overweight 29lbs) and she chases and dominates their SharPei. It is a hoot to watch. A
SUzanne anything to do with pets. and I am won! I love all pets.. Thank you for sharing. it was GREAT!
Love it. Our darling Lazer kitty who passed away this past December was the absolute monarch of our house. Our dogs dared not even look her in the eye. Our big old dufus coon hound Cassidy (also passed) used to come bouncing up to the couch to see us and then realize Lazer was sitting there and divert her eyes and duck her head as fast as she could. No one could give the death stare like Lazer.
Hi Suzanne - I love this stuff. Very few dogs are a match for a cat - it's like a mob goombah type going up against a psycho serial killer Hannibal Lecter - no contest. Generally, the dogs that can do it aren't the kind of dogs you really want to hang out with.
Dick, you are correct, as usual. I just loved it when our cat would chase a dog or a bunny and then let the dog take over. It was a great tag team, and usually end up with me on the ground laughing until tears came. I miss them both.
Most times if the cat has any gumpsion the dog will lose out. Those claws are an awful weapon. I had a cat dig all 4 into my leg once and only once. Not pleasent.
That was a good call for a video. The dog seems to enjoy the contest!
Suzanne,
I love the video. I use to have a German Sheperd and she looked amazingly similar to the one in the video. My Sheperd would chase all the cats in the neighborhood except for the calico I had adopted years earlier . Now the adopted cat would not chase the dog as shown in the video but would make sure the Sheperd knew its place. Funny video. Thanks for sharing.
I have seen our dog chased by a cat ONCE. After that, the dog knew better than to mess with those crazies.
This dog, however, seems to enjoy the chase.
I'm a pet advocate too, Suzanne, so I always love anything to do with dogs and cats.
Suzanne, what a cute video! Dogs and cats can get along, and play together well!
