I have always been a half full vs. half empty kind of gal.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going.................

Look for the good in the bad................

Count your blessings.........

Make hay while the sun shines. ................

If you don't know me, you know someone like me...........

I can get up bright and happy and energetic  every day even  before my first cup of coffee.   (Drives my husband nuts!)

So, I know the real estate market is tough and it takes hard work right now,

But we are in America,

and we  have chosen  jobs we can go to every day,

and we can work hard,

and  we can create paychecks if we want towe just have to find the ways to make it happen!!

I am sick and tired of the news and media!   Their news and media spin and content just does not appeal to (people like???) me!

If we are not getting updated reports on the late Anna Nichole Smith ( God rest her soul), or Julianna being responsible for the break up of  Helio's engagement ( and...they really did deserved to win!), we get live feed of a high speed chase,  or they are pounding us with murder, rape, and school shootings, not too mention how bad our President , our government, our military, our economy, and our real estate market is!

Would it kill them to give us good news......is it that hard to find good news out there??????

Well nestled in this news piece yesterday on the MSNBC Morning News there was a bit of good news for the Austin Real Estate market and I just had to pass it on.

GoodMorning Deb ...Thats a good piece of news for most of us... the buyers need to heed it now because the world could be beating a path to our door to snatch up all the good stuff.  :)   Happy Selling!!!  :)

Well, it is, indeed, good news.  But I don't know if I would call the area around SoCo dirt cheap! There's other areas in Austin that I would say fit the criteria of "up and coming" better, but I'm not going to let MSNBC know about them - that's our little secret. ;-)

I agree Deb - I am tired of the negative news media. Real estate is down after five years of consecutive highs! Everything that goes up must come down - if only to go back up again!

The glass is still half full and will remain so!

Congrats on finding a positive news story!
