Sounds like a lot, doesn't it? It really isn't. We're in this adventure together. We are a community.
I post, you comment, I comment back, and we have a dialogue. You post, I comment, we have a dialogue. Sometimes, it's as though you were right here in my home office sitting in the chair having a conversation with me about the real estate market. It gives us Active Rain juice. The geniuses at Active Rain know. The synergy between Active Rain and Google can only be described as the product of genius.
WE NEED EACH OTHER and that's why we are a community. I read someone else's blog and, while I enjoy the post and the comments, that post may often lead to more questions. I love questions. "Hit the books, Lenn". We'll, they are not exactly "books" any longer. It's Google, of course. I find an answer and write about it and the Active Rain community joins and we have another dialogue.
I could not have achieved this milestone alone. You guys make it easy and fun. I suppose it helps that
I'm a competitive animal. Shhh! Don't tell anyone. We're not supposed to care about points. HA! If points are offered for contributing to Active Rain, I want points. If points put you at the top of a list, I want points. I am an unabashed, self motivated, over achiever.
LOCALISM.COM I spent Tuesday with a wonderful relocating home buyer moving from New Jersey. He read one of my Localism.com posts about new homes. Is there anything better than a relocating new home buyer looking for a home in your neighborhood?? No. Unless it's one of the many home buyers that contact me and I refer to the wonderful agents and brokers in my network of buyers' agents who help the buyers find their next home. Do they blog? Nope. Do I talk to them about blogging? Nope. Do they care? Nope. All they know is that Lenn has this great system of connecting with home buyers. "It's the Internet",they say. Activer Rainers know that it's a lot more than just the Internet.
