Hopefully, if I can figure this question out, it would help me better serve my readers and to better explain the concept of blogging to those that are not familiar with it. I've been trying to explain the concept a lot this week as a precurser to sending out invitations to join.
I normally sleep good at night. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night and found myself thinking about AR. I wanted to log on and get my fix.
In part, I felt bad about not responding to the people that commented yesterday before went to bed, but I didn't get home until late.
I questioned why a really good friend of mine invited me to yahoo messenger, Truila, Facebook etc. but not AR. It is my understanding he could have gotten points for referring me.
Yesterday morning, I took this picture, thinking I could ask, "Who is going to Scratch your back?" The words to follow just never popped into my mind. This morning, I'm thinking about how a year ago, I bought a book on blogging and wasn't really sure what it was about, but I was hearing blogging was something that would impact the future much like the Internet. I didn't make time to read it, but I will be doing so in the very near future - like this weekend. Blogging isn't even in the dictionary or part of the spell check programs.
In a moment, I'll pry myself away from AR because I've got to go to the feed store to buy horse feed and wood shavings before it starts raining. I can easily spend 3 hours at a time reading posts and profiles on AR. The information and the people are great. I love the different view points, the comments, the things that warm your heart and/or uplift you. But, I can find those in other places also. What is different about AR? Why is it addictive?
AR is so addictive because...you learn a lot, you meet interesting people....write interesting posts...get neat tips and tricks...and the list goes on!
