Salem County is comprised of 15 municipalities. It is a diverse county, both in terms of population, history, demographics and business opportunities.
Salem County is located in South New Jersey and comprised of 15 municipalities. As of the 2000 Census, the population was 64,285. Its county seat is Salem (city). Salem County is part of the Delaware Valley region.
Salem county provides easy access to parks, seashores and relaxing beaches, business/financial centers, good schools and restaurants, major sporting events, music and the arts, plus an unlimited variety of shopping opportunities. It's all here and accessible in a matter of minutes.
Salem County lies in the southwest corner of our great state of New Jersey. It sits on the main transportation corridor between Washington, DC and New York City. It is bounded by the Delaware River and Delaware Bay to the west and the Maurice River to the east. Oldmans Creek creates nearly half of Salem County's northern border, while Stow Creek runs along a portion of its southern divide. Salem County's natural features include six rivers, more than 34,000 acres of unique meadow and marshland, tidal and freshwater wetlands, 40 lakes and ponds, bay beaches, dunes, expansive woodlands, a critical underground aquifer, numerous streams and important headwaters. Salem County covers 338 square miles - with nearly half of the land actively farmed. It boasts the lowest density per square mile in New Jersey.

The Appel Farm Arts and Music Center, providing a great venue for art education and music concerts and festivals, and Cowtown Rodeo, the only sanctioned weekly professional rodeo east of the Mississippi, are both located in Salem County.
The counties and municipalities provide good schools and proximity to institutions of higher education, varied sports programs and extensive recreational opportunities for all ages and skill levels. Convenience to major transportation, including roads, trains, buses and airports, provide quick and easy access to Southeastern Pennsylvania and Philadelphia, Wilmington and the South Jersey shore areas. People living in Salem County commute to work daily to the Northern Delaware and Southeastern Pennsylvania areas, and throughout South Jersey. Wilmington and surrounding areas are just a short hop over the Delaware Memorial Bridge.
We believe there are many wonderful communities in the county, including the thriving small town of Elmer, quaint Pennsville, historic Woodstown and Salem, and the townships of Pittsgrove and revitalized Pennsgrove, that are great places to live, work and raise your family. Hey Lawrence. I was wondering what software program you use to create your table. Do you have a specific program you use to create all your blogs? I'm still a bit new to this blog thing and am trying to find something better to use. I've tried Word and Publisher, but had problems with them both.
Providing news, information and resources with a focus on supporting you while conducting business, living and vacationing in the South Jersey area but also covering topics that are broader or national in scope.
Nice post. It looks like a lot of time went into it. I think I'd like to try something like that for our area.
