First I am jazzed because it comes in RED!!!!!! And, of course, that is the one I bought.

At the Inman Connect this summer, I heard the term "communication device" being substituted for "smartphone." With good reason, our phones are becoming the way we communicate in everyway.

So here are the 10 Reasons Why I Love my new Centro:

10. It only cost $99

9. The Palm OS Operating system gives me a familiar interface, just like my Treos. Practically no learning curve!

8. I can open my lockboxes with it! Thank you Supra!

7. I can use it as a modem with my tablet computer. Thank you PDA-Net

6. I can take pictures and email them. (I know-no big deal, but still handy!)

5. I can send email

4. I can surf the web

3. I have my entire Outlook database available anywhere I go!

2. It is smaller, lighter and easier to take along than my old TREO 650

1. It makes me feel hip and cool!!!!!!

Great looking smartphone.  Sounds like it does more than my T mobile.  Oh well I can't switch now.  Isn't this one with Sprint.

Hi Joeann - I've not heard of this one before, but I love that price and I LOVE the red, too!  I just might have to check this one out!  Thanks for sharing.

I'm bummed that it's not yet available with Verizon ... I'd love to "downgrade" from my current Treo.

Hi All  Thank you for coming by and commenting.  Sorry I got behind in answering. I took the weekend off!!!!
Anyway, right now the only provider offering it is Sprint. They sure do make it difficult for us, don't they. I am now carrying a Verizon AND the Sprint because as I travel, I still find places where I only can get one or the other....But this Centro ROCKS!!!!!

Joeann, That sounds too good to be true. What doesn't it do? Awesome price; you can afford to keep a spare around in case of an emergency.  This would have been nice to know for the smart phone seminar with Dick Betts.
