Enjoy your self!

What a WONDERFUL time of year.  I love the parties and invitations to so many fun events.  Cooking is totally appreciated now because for this short time most people are just looking at the goodies and wondering how they taste not, "how much butter did you put in that?"

One of the very most fun parties is an appetizer for dinner party that my friend throws.  Talk about fun!!  We all look for our most exciting recipe and experiment with our family at home till we find something we love.  We cook like crazy the day of the party and then we oooh and yaaa over each others creations like they are little newborns...except we are going to eat them so, I should say like little canapés, except this is much more special. 

The wine is superb (chosen by our very own friend who owns Morgan and York wine shop in Ann Arbor) the food is to die for and the desserts are just divine.  My friends who throws the party loves desserts so I can say, even the last courses are heavenly.  Isn't this what the holidays are all about:  love, friends and sharing our great guilty pleasures?
