Sandra - I love these holiday happenings posts!  Who doesn't want to attend the tree lighting in North Haven?  It's the magical beginning of the Christmas Season...Santa even attends!

This is a great post to share with the members of North Haven.

Well... You are getting fancy with an Email Subscription available for you blog.   That would be a worthwhile post to let other members know how to set it up.  As far as the tree lighting maybe a little flurry activity this afternoon will add to the festivities...

Susie - Thank you! I love Christmas Tree Lightnings myself. It helps you get in the mood for the holiday season.

Dan - I'm hoping it snows, and we don't have the freezing rain.  It is so much more festive when it snows. Gee, honey...thanks for finally noticing the RSS feed.  It has only been on my blog for weeks....lol.  I had told you I was looking for a RSS feed that was easy to use.  This is the best one I found..Man, as far as writing a post about it.  I don't think I very good at technical writing.

Sandra - this is by far my FAVORITE HOLIDAY because I love to give gifts!!  I'll think SNOWY THOUGHTS for you and Dan and see if you have luck tonight to make it extra special this evening.  I miss the snow, even though I've never had to live in as an adult...it's pretty, cold and makes great pictures to bring back to Florida!

Sandra--Sounds like a fun event! BTW--I just added the Subscription service to my other blog. Will have to figure out how to add it here for the localism posts. Thanks for showing me it can be done!

Susie - when can I be expecting my gift? lol....It has already started snowing here. It is a perfect day for this event. I'm planning to bring my camera and hope to get some great shots.

Teri - It is very easy to do!  Especially if I was able to figure it out.  Did you use feedburner?  Feedburner allows you to add more than one blog. I like it because it also keeps track of how many people are subscribing to you.

I read you have snow on your Twitter feed... for some reason I thought it was here that I had read it... I took a mini poll this morning.  No we are not ready for snow.  No we do not think it would help us get in the Christmas spirit.  The Columbus (downtown) lighting was one day this week.  I did not make it downtown.  The Worthington tree lighting was last Sunday and it rained...  Worthington was settled by people from CT and is based on a New England Village...snow would have been appropriate.. having snow in November though is out of the ordinary for us.  See you on Twitter.

Bill - Thank you! Just hope it is not too cold!

Maureen - Yes, you read on it twitter. I'm not a big fan of tons of snow, however for the tree lighting ceremony, snow will make it perfect. I'm still trying to figure out who quit their job by the way. Your clues are not helping. lol. See you on Twitter.

Sandra ... I think it will be news on Monday... that was I believe the response that Jeff Turner left on Twitter.  Or maybe it won't be news...  Here's a hint just for you.

The person has been a member of ActiveRain, joining in late December 2006.  The person has not been very active on ActiveRain for a loooooooooooooong time. The company the person gave notice to has been blogged about a bit in the past couple of months...on ActiveRain and once on the Inman blog... and for a short time all over the RE blogosphere...

You may or may not know this person, when this person joined AR a lot of people did not know the person but if you are a pre ActiveRain RE blogger you know the person.

I think it should make Inman blog.  Big enough real estate blogger to make the RE blogosphere take notice and the story a couple of months ago re: ActiveRain and the person's company and the RE website they operate was big news on AR... wonder if separated from the company the person will still have to not comment.  Probably.  I wonder if a better position prompted it. Where to now.

Maureen - I agree this should make Inman, and the RE blogosphere will take notice. It will be interesting to see where they go...I will be waiting for the news, of course I expect you to report here first! lol

Sandra, the whether was pretty nasty to night, ice all over the place.  Did they still hold the Christmas Tree Lighting, or moved it to the rain date?

George - The Tree Lighting was early enough in the day for it to still take place.  It was snowing at the time.
