We had beautiful weather yesterday as we arrived bright and early at the Daytona Beach Municipal Stadium on LPGA Blvd for our Police Escorted Toy Run.

I volunteered to work the Coca Cola trailer where we had soda's, water and donuts for folks that arrived early. We were accepting donations for the drinks. Some folks were super generous with their money, that made me feel so good.

Santa Claus arrived on his Holiday Themed Yamaha Roadstar around 10AM. I loved the bike all decked out.

Don't ya know, it's too warm here for a sleigh and reindeer!

Santa didn't even have a chance to get off his bike before he was asked to pose for photos with one of the biker elves who was there for the ride.

Some of the younger elves played a little football while we were waiting for the other biker elves to arrive.

This elf almost needed a sidecar for his rider!

Some lucky child is going to get a stuffed animal bigger then them from Santa!

Bright House was one of our sponsors.

Here is a Bright House elf decorating the truck for our ride to Main Street.

Our Daytona Beach Police Department Elves ready to lead us to Main Street in style.

Our procession is ready to go!

Here we go!

One we arrived on Main Street, Santa presented Pee Wee with a huge bag of toys and two brand new bicycles for the kids.

Rock with the two bikes

Santa unloading his bag of toys

Bless his heart, he had something for all ages in that bag..

Pee Wee held a Ride In Bike Show, when I left there were about 11 bikes entered. I know the little gal that rides this one.. She's a spitfire. Her husband designed and built this bike for her from a Sportster.

Correction: This is not the bike built from the sportster, she had two bikes and I got them confused! Sorry Len! Thanks for stopping by with the correct information.

I left early to go take a nap as we also had Steve's Company Christmas party to attend last evening. I don't know who won in the show, but there were a couple different class's. I had a pretty good time though. I hope the children enjoy their toys.

Oh, I picked up a "My Little Pony" toy. I wanted to get something for someone younger. I haven't been on a Toy Run in so long, I had no clue what to get...

Lysa, who knew surfin' AR could be so much fun with my 5 year old.  You should have heard her comments.  She giggled when she saw Santa on the bike and was convinced Santa was going to jump the bridge!  Then, she pointed out a camera must be following Santa...so goofy!  I know you brought joy to my daughter and so thrilled for the kids you've helped with this toy drive!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh No, we aren't going to start a best bike debate are we Bohemus?  We still haven't resolved the synthetic vs dino oil debate yet.
