Last night my husband and I were invited to dinner to my client's new home they purchased the end of August.  It so happens my husband and I have known them for many, many years.  It was a struggle to find them the perfect home.

We were in contract with a single family home that did not go through.  They were in a struggle to sell their SF home.  Three week later their home goes into escrow.  They are back to Benicia looking and looking.

They ended up in a place they love.  Townhouses right at the Benicia Marina watching the ships sail up the Carquinez Straits.

The compelling part of this story is last night Barb told me once they walked into this condo, she fell in love.  She would move heaven and earth to make it happen.

And many times that is what really happens.  When there is a connection and the client does not weigh all the pros and cons (from my client's lips), it is the right place. They know it and will move heaven and earth to make it happen.

It's an emotional decision, buying always is. Seems to work out just right when when folks find what they really like. It's even better when a buyer falls in love with something that fits their price range.

cheers

This type of conversation is prevalent in making them trust you.  Telling them they will know it when they find it goes a long way.

No matter how rational and objective we would like to think the home buying process is, there is a HUGE emotional component. I think most of us have experienced this personally when buying a home. I know I have.

Back when we found our home, It was the same way. From the time we opened the front door until we left that day. My wife and I decided that that it was the house for us. We have been there for about 5 years and have no intentions of moving.
