Watching For Daffodils - Roy and Dolores Kelley Photographs

Those of us that are hoping for an early spring are watching for the Daffodils to bloom. So far, I have seen just a few blooms in our Kentlands community in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  There is a Facebook group called First Daffodils that is also interesting to see if you enjoy Daffodils.

You can always count on Longwood Gardens to display the flowers of the season in the Conservatory and in the 1,000+ acres of gardens.

Have an outstanding week, with your camera in hand.

Hi Roy,

Spring has sprung here but really slow.

We have the first flowers of the year and I will do a post about them soon.

Roy, daffodils and narcissus are my favorite spring fleurs...i had many unusual varieties at my last house but they didn't grow well by the shore...had to go out and buy a dozen this weekend to have the beautiful yellow blooms on my table...great share

My daffodils are up, but they are not blooming yet. Just another week or so.

I was looking at some daffodils just starting up in the yard and I heard on the news that that parts of our State are looking for 12-20 inches of snow today.  I guess winter has a few more days left in Colorado.  Great pics!
